HOW DOES DepositFree REDUCE RISK?
DepositFree takes responsibility for the financial obligation of your resident. The surety bond is a written agreement between the resident and DepositFree that protects you from loss if the resident fails to fulfill the financial terms of the lease. If the resident moves out without fulfilling their lease obligations DepositFree will reimburse you the monies owed up to the limits of the surety bond.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
For every enrolled resident, DepositFree allocates a percentage of the one-time, non-refundable fee specifically for loss reimbursement. As more residents enroll in the program, the owner’s financial pool of capital grows. If a resident who fulfills the lease obligation moves out, the reserves remain intact. When a resident doesn’t fulfill the lease agreement, the conditions of the surety bond require them to reimburse DepositFree for cost of damages, excessive cleaning, loss of rent and related expenses, including legal and collection fees. Once DepositFree collects from the resident, the monies are returned to your account for future reimbursements.
